Mit dem Podcast Studio ist es moglich, bequem eigene Podcasts zu erstellen. Sie nehmen zunachst eigene Dateien mit dem integrierten Audio Recorder als MP3, OGG oder Wave auf und speichern diese auf Ihrer Festplatte. Als nachstes starten Sie den Podcast Director, der Ihnen bei der Erstellung eigener Podcasts hilft. Ein Podcast besteht hierbei immer aus einer RSS-Feed Datei (oder Podcast-Feed), die Informationen uber den Ersteller, das Thema des Podcast usw. enthalt. Diese RSS-Feed Datei, die anschlie?end vom Horer abonniert wird, enthalt Informationen uber die Dateien, die Sie veroffentlichen mochten. Nachdem Sie die gewunschten Dateien, die Sie zum Beispiel mit dem Audio Recorder aufgezeichnet haben, hinzugefugt haben, konnen Sie Ihren Podcast auf einen Server im Internet veroffentlichen; dazu verwenden Sie den Podcast Uploader. Aber was nutzen die besten Podcasts, wenn sie niemand kennt? Damit Ihr Podcast bekannt wird, hilft der Podcast Publisher bei der Veroffentlichung in den Podcast Archiven. Podcast erstellen ist das eine, Podcast empfangen das andere. Auch hier lasst Sie das Podcast Studio nicht im Stich und bietet mit dem Podcast Manager einen vollwertigen Podcast Client (oder Podcatcher) an. Stobern Sie in Ruhe im Podcast Verzeichnis, abonnieren Sie neue Podcast. Damit Sie die geladenen Podcast Dateien auch unterwegs genie?en konnen, hilft Ihnen der Podcast Ubertragungsassistent bei der Ubertragung der Dateien: Auf USB-Stick, iPod, PDA, CD.
