Highlight a phone number in a document, in an html page or in a database or spreadsheet and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C). The Dialer will pop up with the phone number ready to dial.
Phone numbers may also be typed.
The dialer considers any text as phone number, which contains only characters from 0 to 9 and the hyphen, the dot, the left and the right parenthesis. In cases when this conflicts with other applications the user can right clicking on the icon in the system tray and unmarking "Detects".
