Icon3D is a 3D desktop launcher that lets you organise your favorite program, internet or document links onto a 3D shape which can be rotated and spun on your desktop. Practically everything about this utility is customizable. You can choose from over 50 different 3D shapes ranging from the classic Dodecahedron through to the stunning Floating Clock. All of the textures within Icon3D can be changed including the shape and background textures and even the clock hands! There are over 30 different textures supplied with the program and of course you can use your own images if you wish. For additional realism you can also experiment with the lighting feature with its different positions and colors to add depth to the scene. The shape can be as large or as small as you wish and there is a choice of four different window styles. If you want to use your existing wallpaper then the Capture facility can blend Icon3D into your desktop so the 3D shape appears to float in your favorite wallpaper scene!Why stick with your old flat desktop?
